IC Rewards Survey

Here at The First Empire we strive to reward our members for their hard work, for the sweat and blood they put into their characters... or at least, the time and effort, and often times emotions. We also believe in member feedback and a site that's always evolving as its members do.

We wish to start an IC Reward system for our characters. This will likely be post count-based, but will also take other factors into consideration - to be decided by Tog and myself. Where you come in, dear member, is with your input. What rewards would you like to see your characters receive? (this does not include the rewards that already come from rank increase)

Keep in mind the IC restrictions, but get creative! Let us know what you would like to have on this site for characters who are used often, well thought-out, and deserve the credit. Reply to this thread with your ideas! We don't promise we'll use them all, but we'll certainly discuss the merits of each suggestion

Current Rewards being considered:

-Hair dye (including non-natural colors)
-tattoos and henna
-piercings
-(possibly) pets
-second power
-mastery of original power

Hmm...maybe increased privileges? Like access to newsfeeds/TV if previously restricted. Or even the use of recreational technologies such as entertainment consoles. For those with their stomachs at heart, access to better food, or having food reserved for them in the cafeteria. Though I love the options of tattoos, a second power, and the mastery of the original power. Hair dye would certainly be fun for some people, as would piercings, though pets might be stretching it a little depending on the type of animal. Just my couple of cents, hope it helps.

Okay, on a non-crazy-cat-person related note, I think mastery of our current powers would be a good reward. Stuff like hair dye would seem out of place in the rather serious setting, and if we wanted tattoos for our characters, I think we'd have just written them into the backstory. Additional powers wouldn't really make sense, either.

Improving the use of our current abilities, however, fits in very well with the story and setting. As our characters spend more time training with and using their abilities, they would get better at using them.
